A pergola gives filtered shade and an open feel; a solid-roof pavilion or patio cover gives you the space in rain and full sun. If you want to use it year-round, the solid roof is worth the added cost.
Can you attach a cover to my existing roof?
Yes, and the flashing detail where it ties in is the part that matters. Done wrong it's a leak above your ceiling; we frame and flash it as a roof, not an awning.
Does an outdoor kitchen need permits and utilities?
Gas, water, drain, and electrical work generally need permits and inspection. We plan the runs before the slab is poured and handle the paperwork.
Will the new concrete match my existing patio?
New concrete never color-matches old concrete exactly. We usually design the transition — a joint, a border, or a different finish — so it reads intentional rather than mismatched.
